When to visit
February to May is the sweet spot, warm, dry and comfortable before the peak summer heat. June to August is hottest and busiest (book early and plan morning beach time). Where to stay
Most families base themselves along the beachfront on Vo Nguyen Giap, from My Khe down to Non Nuoc, close to calm beaches, pools and restaurants. Getting around safely
Grab (the local ride app) is cheap and everywhere, but cars don't carry child seats and Vietnamese law doesn't require them. On busy roads and the drives to Hoi An, Ba Na Hills and the Marble Mountains, a properly fitted car seat is the single most important safety decision, and we can even meet you at the airport with one ready.
