Family Dining Guide

Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Da Nang

Where to eat with babies, toddlers and fussy eaters, sorted by the thing that’s actually stressing you out. Filter by high chairs, play areas, kids’ menus, vegan options and more, and see an honest parent snapshot for every place.

Da Nang is genuinely easy for eating out with young children. You’re never far from a good burger or a proper pizza, plenty of places have high chairs, and a whole category of café-plus-soft-play venues lets a restless toddler burn energy while you actually finish a coffee. Below, filter by exactly what you need, and tap any place to open it in Google Maps.

Most "family-friendly Da Nang restaurant" lists are written by the restaurants. They’ll tell you a place has silicone cutlery and a changing table, and then you arrive with a hungry one-year-old and there’s a wobbly plastic stool and a squat toilet.

This one is different. We rent baby gear to families in Da Nang for a living, so we hear about the bad meals as well as the good ones. We’ve split it by the thing that’s actually stressing you out, the toddler who won’t sit still, the four-year-old who only eats beige food, the missing high chair, and we’ve been honest about which facilities we’ve confirmed and which are just a listing. Where a piece of kit solves the problem, we’ve said so.

Use the filters to jump to what matters today, tap any restaurant to open it in Google Maps, or hit Download the list for a printable copy. If you know a place we’ve missed, tell us.

Eating out with little ones in Da Nang: what actually helps

  • The "won’t sit still" problem is often a seating problem. A toddler wedged into an adult chair with nothing under their feet lasts ten minutes; in a proper travel high chair they last forty. We deliver ours to your hotel or apartment, see our high chair rental.
  • Go early. Most kitchens are quietest and coolest before the dinner rush, and it suits nap and bedtime schedules.
  • Order the kids’ food first. Especially at resort restaurants where service can be slow, get their meal in before yours.
  • Water is not from the tap. Ask for bottled or boiled water for babies and toddlers.
  • Check opening hours the day before. Smaller cafés close midweek or for an afternoon break, and some kids cafés keep irregular hours.
  • Rainy or 36°C? The indoor café-plus-soft-play venues are the perfect backup, see our kids’ activities guide and rainy season guide.

On "allergy-friendly": we only describe a place as fully vegan or dairy-free where the venue itself is (like KURUMI). We don’t label anywhere "allergy safe", cross-contamination is a separate issue only the restaurant can speak to, so always talk to staff directly about allergies.

Frequently asked questions
